The NEMA TS2 BIUT-800 is designed to run a complete set of standards-based
tests on a NEMA TS2 Bus Interface Unit (BIU). This set of tests will
confirm the performance of the BIU to the timing and functions defined by
the NEMA TS2-1998 standard. The BIU is tested in all eight NEMA-defined
modes and includes testing of the SDLC functions and error detection. A
fully automated test can be completed in less than 10 minutes and provides
a comprehensive test report that can be saved and downloaded to a
computer.
